the inflation in both of these quarters is primarily the result of Covid and the accompanying shutdown of the economy as well as other events neither president controlled (Ukraine War, OPEC production cuts etc...). Biden's spending policies haven't helped but he's also following biggest spending administration in history so not sure how Trump would have helped lower inflation either.
