Selective stats can certainly be misleading

If you really think all Cook needs is 15 more yards per game to be average, I have Golden Girl that wants you. You also need to look at QBR, yards per attempt, etc. He has a LOT to improve on to be average, much less where we need him to be to compete for a championship.

But I do blame Drink's overly conservative play calling somewhat for those passing stats. Not sure if he was like that because of Cook's (limited) ability, but hopefully Kirby takes the shackles off the offense.

But I completely agree that HOW the season plays out is more important than the W/L record as far as Drink's future is concerned. I thought I was about the only person that thought that way.
