for Mizzou basketball. Neither Quin nor Cuonzo ever managed a top 4 finish in conference, and Norm and MA are the only ones to build a team to do it in the last 25 years. Haith took over a talent laden team and did it and went down hill from there. Top 4 is my threshold for success, as you have to have the byes in the conference tournament to realistically have a chance of winning it. 5th seed or lower has almost no chance playing an extra game in 4 days versus better teams that are only playing 3.
