I suspect that there are some intangibles that come along with Carralero's game that Gates knows more about than we do.

Not every recruit is brought here to average 15 points a game. Carrelero will play a role and provide veteran leadership. If he can be a hard-nosed veteran leader along the lines of Tre Gomillion, then it's a win.
