You walked into this "venue" through the guys carport/kitchen door. Directly to your left was the proprietor and owner of this establishment. He was seated in the old shotgun kitchen's counter with a stack of white bread, a jar of mayo, and a package of bologna - making himself sandwiches one after another and downing them. He was quite slovenly.
Door was $5. 2 bands, both bad. 13 people in this guys living room. I went back to the kitchen and grabbed the Miller High life from the avocado-colored refrigerator and dropped a buck in the tuppeware container next to the 20 pack that was the only occupant of the fridge besides a jar of relish (mind you, the bologna and mayo were in use).
So, in retrospect, this beer experience was probably the most Gertim thing ever.
I think they stopped doing shows here b/c neighbors complained about the parking

Another memory - this was the night that Andy Lock's son led a last minute victory at Purdue.
