But you have to add to the buyout whatever you have to pay her to leave UNLV. Who know what that will be? Another million?
What this is all going to come down to, is how serious DRF is about upgrading the program. I'm sort of surprised that she hasn't said anything about it so far -- not even a vote of confidence -- whereas she said more and acted sooner with Martin and even the former tennis coach.
Maybe her logic will be: "Robin has a year left on her contract. She can't get much worse and maybe she'll get better. She has a decent recruiting class coming in. Might as well let her play out her contract and then make a fresh start after that."
