Yes we definitely need another good shooter or 2, The problem with Carter is he does not have the foot speed to guard 1-4, only 5's but he does not have the length to guard most 5's. Love him on offense but we have to hide him on Defense.

The more length you have on the floor the better, that's why I want to see Shaw and Pierce at the 3 because of their length, Shaw 6'8 and Pierce 6'10 but both can stay in front of anyone that's not a point guard.

So if you need to go smaller with Kobe or Carter you still have length around them that can help on the boards and on defense.
