Just three seasons in the past 20 with a winning record. Only two of those did they have a winning conference record. They have won no more than 5 games in any of the past 6 years while going 1-11 last year. They have been one of, if not the worst P5 programs over the past 20 years. The bar is so low, the definition of success and thus how he will be reviewed is all in his favor.
I’m not saying he’s going to win the conference, I’m saying he will get them to .500 and probably a game or two over in the next 5 years, probably a couple of bowl games and that will be considered a huge success for that program.
