could only win when he had an unbelievable talent differential compared to his opponents. Even then he didn't win the championship last year when he had 3* and 4* players with a 5* sprinkled in going against largely unranked and 2* players.
He will never have a huge talent advantage when he plays other P5 schools so I don't ever see him being anything more than a .500 level coach fighting for a crap bowl on good seasons.
HCED had a better record in a tougher league than him without a huge talent gap and he's basically a .500 coach fighting for a crappy bowl. Hopefully that changes.
