blow dried California politician. A part of the swamp.
I heard a couple of interesting things that are totally contradictory; one is that Newt Gingrich said that the Republican demands are largely personal and career oriented for people who want a committee assignment or a chairmanship.
Don't know how much I trust Gingrich, but that was a Disappointment.
Then I hear that McCarthy is a snotty little shjt who wanted to play emperor and be the next Nancy Pelosi. Someone, Boebert?, Said that she met personally with him, and he then commented publically about the meeting and said things that were absolutely untrue.
And that he was the one who was making demands and refusing to deal with people that he thought weren't necessary when he planned on having a super majority.
I am still of the mind that I would not vote for McCarthy, don't trust him.
Here's a thought, interested in your reaction. Currently I am solidly with the 20. I would move from that if McCarthy would publicly endorse an agenda, a time frame, and a prioritization of issues, such as no omnibus spending bills, and other things that they would put to him if he could publicly commit to that I could move from the gang of 20 to vote for McCarthy.
Where are you on all this…?
