market over any 5/10 year period. That is a nogo except if you have no clue what you are doing and even then it might be worth the $ to hire someone to help.

I don't know all the tax laws for life insurance policies but what it means if you are going that route is you didn't plan very well and you are trying to put fix in place in case you die before you get your late planning back on track.
