one but my mother-in-law always did a fresh one from Meiner's in Brookside, back when it was a family-run market and my wife won't budge on fresh versus frozen. I am guessing a similar-sized bird last year was $20~$25.
This one was moist and delicious, in spite of cooking it for an extra 45 minutes to brown it. Supposed to go for 4 hours and it was done in just over 3. Untented it to brown the skin for another 45 minutes in the oven.
