records aren't everything.

(1) Odom inherited a Pinkel roster. Drink inherited an Odom roster.

(2) Drink has recruited circles around Odom's classes.

(3) Drink has had NIL to contend with (the reason he didn't land a better QB in the portal)

(4) Drink had an all-SEC schedule his first year (5-5). No automatic non-con cupcake W's.

(5) The SEC East was historically weak during Odom's tenure. Tennessee, Georgia, SC, Kentucky, even Vandy have all improved. Florida was arguably weaker as well.

Odom isn't even a good DC, let alone an HC.
