(2) Drink has recruited circles around Odom's classes.

(3) Drink has had NIL to contend with (the reason he didn't land a better QB in the portal)

(4) Drink had an all-SEC schedule his first year (5-5). No automatic W's from cupcake non-con opponents.

(5) The SEC East was historically weak during Odom's tenure. Tennessee, Georgia, SC, Kentucky, even Vandy have all improved. Florida was arguably weaker as well.


Odom isn't even a good DC, let alone an HC. He couldn't even beat Vanderbilt by the time he was fired.
