Scams or con artists.
Sure, in hindsight, it's easy to see the flaws and the lies.
But I bet that many years ago people thought, Elon, musk, Steve Jobs, and Henry Ford were loons as well. And who could possibly be naïve or stupid enough to invest in something that allowed you to speak to someone on the other end of the country.
