This isn't hard. I have no problem with political party operatives driving people to polls, as long as the don't actually help them cast their ballot. If they physically can't go to the polls, the absentee process was a well-established process that worked and they can do that. The key part that made that process work was the signature on the ballot envelope had to be notorized, and there are people in hospitals and nursing homes that can do that without party operatives being involved. For the very small number of other cases, election officials should have non-partisan teams than go to people's houses and secure their ballot that way, but that is something people would have to request and it would only be allowed for certain cases.
