They believe they are the intellectual elite, if not the financial elite. Our moral betters. They do nothing except lecture and complain.
And they mock those who disagree and who actually try to accomplish something.
They are like the dolts in school who did nothing but disrupt the class and criticize those who work hard as stooges. The indolent and the ignorant mock the hard Woking students, Pointing out that they are both going to graduate anyway. So why waste the energy trying to learn something...
They are the welfare recipients who when not complaining about how unfair life is, mock the people who work 50 hours a week and make barely more than they welfare bums.
Smugness is no longer reserved for people with something to be smug about.
