it's very hard to win at ku unless you strike gold with the right coach. And when you do, he will use you as a stepping stone.

Bert will likely be solid at Illinois over time, but IMO, there's a ceiling there. They are certainly in the right division to have some success there, but aren't going to sprint ahead of programs like Iowa and Wisconsin long term.
