FBI and they know this.

The FBI had the laptop and likely knew by then that it was authentic. They told Facebook it was disinformation so they would kill the story. With the political leanings of Zuckerberg and the rest they knew that was all it would take.

There was disinformation being spread but it was coming from the FBI & DNC, not Russia.
