The government mandated lockdowns were a true picture of authoritarianism in the United States.

But, in the big picture, was it anything more than an offshoot of the long desired and hoped for state of "single payer" government controlled healthcare (which of course is only a cover name for the primary desire, to collect and distribute all the monies associated with anything to do with medical revenue and expense)?
