by pushing back so hard. We had no choice but to move forward and now unless something crazy happens, the Chinese people are going to be reminded that they might think they're the future badasses of the world, but they're not there yet.

There's a lot of tumult in China right now economically. The people are pushing back about paying mortgages for underwater properties and Xi wants a third term. The Covid thing has been just a complete disaster for them in every way, not the least of which is their no cases policy with it.

The whole Pelosi thing is a farce. Sure China claims sovereignty, but Taiwan is, as of today, an independent sovereign nation, which has every right to their own foreign policy and reception of foreign leaders.
