We bought a PHEV last July

After a year of ownership we couldn't be happier. We rarely use the internal combustion engine around town, as the electric has enough range to run errands, and there are free chargers at several places we frequent. Then, we we road trip back to Missouri, we have an actual engine to get us there without needed to stop twice to charge for an hour. Until range improves a bit more, PHEV is the sweet spot, IMO.
