All the so-called alliance did in response to Texas and Oklahoma bolting was weaken the PAC 12, marginalized the Big XII and the ACC.
Well, maybe two Super conference and two marginalized connferences. I think the other conferences would have been better off to have agreed to had a 12 team playoff.

While the SEC commisioner is right college football is better off as a whole, going forward the money disparity will at some point cause another contraction/ expansion. It is just a matter of time.

The SEC positioned itself for whatever eventuality.
