Very astute analysis. Also, re: Clemson, they've been very good during the Dabo years (about 10) prior to that they were really nothing special. Being from a small state with a not giant alumni base, their value can wane quickly if their success recedes. Long term getting into North Carolina and Virginia, larger growing states, makes more sense.

But other than Notre Dame, I'm not sure right now there is any other available school who brings enough to justify another mouth to feed.
