a massive jump and they can learn a lot from starters (ala Mahomes/Alex Smith). In college, I think a QB benefits far more from experience than watching/learning from a bridge guy.

If we didn't or don't have a QB on roster that we want to build, I'll all for a one year guy. I believe we do though.
