the legislature makes laws, the judicial branch interprets law. Trump didn't start the political trend. If he appointed judges that were originalists that was his prerogative.

Like every president in recent memory, he had no idea how these guys would vote on hot button social issues. Many a Supreme Court judge have not voted in a way that a president or his political constituents would have thought. He could have legislated or tried to put the abortion question to a vote and never did.

Shame on him for appointing judges that didn't appease the left. Or a judge that isn't a biologist
