Barker wouldn't have accepted the job unless he knew he was the DC in waiting. Drink was working behind the scenes with NFL GMs to secure the best spot for Wilkes, which it appears he found. potential assistant coaches know this about Drink. he's getting a reputation among the circles as a guy who can make things happen.
