Pre-Covid I was looking for the same thing

5-6 year old 1500 4x4 truck with 100K miles for $12-15K.

All I found were beaters or ones with issues so I bought new and got the 5 year loan. One more year left but essentially I have a $10K loan left for a 2018 with 100K miles and I now know the history

Truck prices are always insane and all cars during Covid. I can sell my truck for within a couple thousand of what I paid for it right now
