What reason would she have to tell him Cuonzo is in trouble? Did she tell him $6M is an obstacle? She may be negotiating that now, because Cuonzo doesn't seem to be coaching any harder. He still seems to show up with a totally unprepared team displaying no apparent knowledge of the opponent.
There would be a vote of confidence statement or extension if what Forde says is true. I could be wrong, because typically that is done to keep recruits in the fold---for coaches who recruit. Any casual observer expects Brown & Brazile to be portal bound, so she has to have a list in the works.
