starters who were very solid and a couple of decent bench players. In his first week as a coach he got the number one player in the nation to commit. Soon after he got two more top 50 recruits and an all-conference transfer.
The man was gifted with a team that was set to compete for conference before he even unpacked his office.
Kim was a horrible coach but he did no damage to the program. He did not leave CM with any sanctions to deal with, no players that were head cases and he always had a decent relationship with admin and donors. People who claim that the program was in shambles are simply trying to make excuses for CM.
Even if Kim hurt the program, which I deny, they were only three years removed from a run of six straight 20 win seasons.
