change my mind about him as a man. That would be dishonest. It would be an invalid excuse. I don't know how he could look at himself in the mirror, call himself a mentor of young men and be that dishonest.

He hasn't done that yet so...

If the AD does that to avoid firing him then we have an AD that needs firing.
