2. I work in critical care providing care to patients with severe COVID-19. I am not going to use a therapy that hasn't been proven to work outside of a test tube. That's not good medicine. I don't need to get the advice from internet doctors who are trying to make a buck off of dupes who'll believe anything that they read on the internet.
Look at my history on hydroxychloroquine on this board and you'll see my consistency. At the beginning of the pandemic, we did use hydroxychloroquine despite the lack of good evidence but we were desperate (see first link). Once we found it did not help (in addition to no quality studies showing a benefit) we abandoned use.
