in a couple years (as we know it), and TV revenue & exposure will decrease dramatically for its members. Consequently, so will the quality and competitiveness of its programs, over time.
Baylor wouldn't have won the natty without the power-conference resources (money & exposure) from having Texas & Oklahoma in the conference.
Going forward, they'll have to make due with mid-major resources. So unless one of them gets lucky enough to hire a guy like Mark Few, who's loyal to the core, there probably won't be any more natties in their future.
