There ARE indeed a lot of cringeworthy things said on this page, though I think some of the dumbest comments originate from a handful of posters who, for whatever reason, are able to do so without much pushback. I'm probably guilty of it myself but have made an effort to be better.
If people had to attach their real names and faces to the words they post, I'm sure things would be a lot more civil around here -- but that's not the nature of message boards. Also, some people think they're being clever and cute and just can't help themselves.
More to the point, I've been hard on Wilkes but it looks like he has earned some continued support if the last 2-3 games are an accurate indication of things to come.
