and AD could hire this person and not be risking their job in the process. Me too era college kids might protest his hiring press conference, for instance. This is not 20 years ago. If it was 2000, I think he'd land at an Oklahoma State type job.

Also this is the type of thing that could make some of your donors pass on writing the check for his salary too (some, not all, though).
