or the other had done really well, that guy would have stayed in. Macon had the first chance, but guess he did not impress enough ... Cook played more I believe but then Macon coming back for the last drive pretty much ensures that both will play on Saturday.
The fact that Macon started seems to indicate to me that they wanted him to grab the job ... but he just couldn't do it.
IMO Cook is the better QB in terms of actually running the offense ... Macon is too inaccurate, and his running ability is not so great that it makes up for that issue. He missed on three plays where a TD could have been scored, two on passes and one where he should have run it in ... two plays in a row on the last drive should have been TDs
