degrees out there. I took one less math class and two fewer physics electives than everyone else in my physics department. If you are a high school math or science teacher you have basically the same degree as everyone else in the department. Our final semester was devoted to education classes and student teaching, that was the only difference. Most of our education requirements were in the form of gen ed electives.
