has made whatever we do have into almost nothing.

Other coaches who are actually suited to the job could have done better than creating the worst defense in the country.

It's so bad that even AFTER his scheme and methods have been outed, we still lost a linebacker to the portal this week.

The guy just doesn't know how to pull together a team and that's more important at the college level than even the scheme.

So no, no kool-aid involved.

Nothing wrong with believing Wilks was going to at least be average (though I didn't believe it) - he's just turned out jarringly bad - which is why you could describe our current situation as jarring.

If Chad Staggs had been hired we'd at least have a close-knit group swarming the football and making sound tackles.

With Wilks we have no fundamentals, no actionable scheme and no teamwork.

It's the worst of all worlds.
