If you want wins there needs to be better fan support. Fans have a partnership with the team. Other than the Rally for Rhyan game every year and the first 1-2 games with MPJ the home atmosphere hasn’t been very good.

That makes it hard for coaches to bring players in during the season.

If fans are engaged and the coach still isn’t recruiting well enough to win. Then it’s easier to fire the coach and bring in a new one.
