Recruits can see that Musselman is a coach who's driven and wants to win BIG.

Cuonzo on the other hand seems like someone who checked out years ago, who no longer has a passion for the game, and who's coasting to retirement as he rides out the remainder of his iron-clad contract.

In other words, they can tell Cuonzo is serious when he says things like "I've got enough money to retire" and "I don't care about the scoreboard."
