in the future? Some of those teams (when is the last time Florida State was really good) are going to regress after getting their teeth kicked in for several years and you will just end up with something similar to the SEC now.

Many of those teams are that high in revenue because they are traditionally winning programs. Winning generates that revenue. And for a lot of those teams, those wins did not always come from top notch competition week in and week out.
