example of an inept and uneven governing body. I can't imagine any entity doing it worse. But I do think being able to stand behind the shield of 'student athlete' is necessary for these university presidents to get on board with the role college football has evolved into in higher education. Once players start suing the university for workers comp benefits and damages I think you start to see a whole bunch of schools walk away.
