While I am all for students getting a bigger slice of the pie the NCAA has hoarded, the transfer portal was a huge blow...how can you follow recruiting when half the class will be gone before their Jr year? How can you passionately watch a game when you don't know who is playing for your team? So, knock yourselves out, do what is best for you (I would) but don't think for a second the money will still be their if you have degraded your own product to an unrecognizable state. People WILL find other things to do if the changes are as drastic and sudden as they seem.
