Clemson, despite having lower (ACC level) revenue, invests a greater percentage of their budget in football — $40 million per year (almost 70% more than what we spend). Instead, we invest more of our budget in the worthless non-revenue programs that no one cares about, while Clemson (and other schools with smart ADs) are pouring their resources into FB & BB.
The bottom line is that if Clemson is spending $40 million per year on football, then we should be spending $50 million. We have the budget for it now.
