He gives WAY too much to the non-revenue programs (which virtually no one cares about), probably for political reasons.

Seriously, compare the percentage of our AD budget going toward FB and BB with other P5 schools. Look at Clemson, for example. Our AD budget is similar to theirs (thanks to being in the SEC vs ACC) but our FB expenditures are significantly less. The same is true with basketball. Both of our revenue programs are underfunded despite having what will soon be a top 25 AD budget nationally.
