I love Drink for telling it like it is, but the NCAA is hanging on for dear life.

It cannot and will not bite the feeding hand. Middling schools feel the wrath and the "bluebloods" run amok. All the NCAA can do is bluster and threaten and delay.

In the end, the machine rolls on.
