FYI.
Back in the day all 300 schools had the same vote. So the little dickwads always voted for less scholarships, less this, and less that.
The NCAA owned the TV rights. I was working in NYC at the time. It was the Saturday of The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. My only option was Rutgers at Penn State.
UGA and OU sued the NCAA over TV rights, and won. This is why you can watch Mizzou 12 times/season.

UGA and OU formed the College Football Association. Every P5 conference but the Little Ten joined. The NCAA folded and gave up.

So, Don't judge the P5 programs. Be glad you are a P5.
