Kansas State had tied the game on a three-point play by Tyrone Adams with 7:44 left to make it 43-43.
Missouri then went into its spread offense, running the clock down to 5:43 before Moon McCrary was fouled by Adams. McCrary missed the free throw, but Steve Stipanovich tipped the rebound back to McCrary as the Tigers retained possession.
The Tigers then ran off more than five minutes from the clock before calling a timeout with 22 seconds left. The final-shot offense dictated Frazier who took the ball on the left baseline and went up for the jumper only to be fouled by Adams. The shot went for a basket and Frazier calmly sank the free throw two timeouts later to enable Missouri to extend its home winning streak to 18 games.
Ricky Frazier's converted a three-point play with seven seconds left in the game to lift Missouri to a 46-43 Big Eight victory Saturday over Kansas State -- giving the Tigers back-to-back undisputed conference titles for the first time in 50 years.
