you are actually saying is for the coaches to politicize it a bit, try to limit the politicization so as not to alienate some fans, but then push back against the politicization of sports when challenged on their stand.

Not trying to be argumentative, but that is the current posture all over the country. And I am not sure how comfortable I am with that.
