It was a direct route from Independence to downtown KC.
And I did know of someone who bought houses around 23rd & Topping for cheap to fix and resell. Could be bought cheap and sold cheap for lower income buyers. Just never rent or you'll see your property destroyed.
This guy's office was in the old Ford plant--his office had been Henry Ford Jr's office. All glass to look out over the office staff and lots of walnut on the walls.
